I didn’t make the cut
Didn’t make the grade
Our love wasn’t worth keeping
Just a remnant for sale

No need for words it’s how you behaved.
Threw the scrapes aside, did it with a smile,
No backward glance or shame
Our life just a remnant for sale

You were through found yourself a “new” somebody to entertain or
should I say cause more pain. On “self” is how you played your game.
No “POWS” just “Friendly Fire” for your own desire.
Shredding lives and causing strife.
No raining on your parade.

You came, you took, staked your claim.
It was all a masquerade. Smoke screens and mirrors
I guess I should have figured you out to be the salesman of the hour
Screaming REMNANTS, REMNANTS
This life for sale everything going down the drain!

Left Over Looked Over
Not a trace of a life once shared together
Packed up, pushed away just the dustbin of the day.
You singing “Hurray” thinking you’re the prize yet only adding to the demise.
Yelling Remnants, Remnants you were “Just” the catch of the day.
I win; you lose now out of my way.


Laughing, Joking, very outspoken
confidence you’re broken the
person into a Remnant, Remnant, Remnant
for sale.
