Morning Whispers
© N Noël Jan 2012
I
hear the sound of morning rain
Running
down my window pane
And I
think of you
Warm
shadows, small flecks of light
Peep
through the curtains
And I
dream of you
Winter
mornings with warm blankets
Scents
of incense burning
Chai
tea and two bodies melting
Linger
pleasantly in air
Tangled
in covers, nestled together
Breathing
shallow breaths
Holding
and comforting the other
I
connect with you
In
our space of morning whispers
Back
to belly
Arms
encircle waist
Early
mornings such a comfortable space
Sharing
silent thoughts
Before
the day begins
No
hustle, rush or confusion
Drifting
in and out of
Dreamscape
and morning wake
Feeling
your breath on my ear
Kisses
on the nape of my neck
The
feeling of safety
My
heart can’t escape
Those
morning whispers between two
With
my entire being
I
long for you
Content
in that space
Two
minds, two Souls
Meeting,
Beating
As
One
This
wholesome place we share
Before
the rising of the sun
The
morning whispers and
I
belong to you
