Stop worrying about the maybes

Close my eyes believe

Not be afraid to try

I wanna laugh loud like

Noise of children’s play

Wake up everyday joyous

For new beginnings

New opportunities

A chance for life

Possibilities beyond belief

I wanna make love from

Sunrise to moonlight

And repeat it all again

I wanna live my life

With a person I call my best friend

Trying is one thing

Doing is another

No promises come from

Closed doors

I wanna open shutters

That were once sealed

And scream with lungs

Filled with joy

I wanna live life

Without fear

I wanna kiss sweet kisses

With passion so deep

All over my body

When I wake from sleep

Smile at my reflection

That’s brimming with chance

From living each moment

Like a child that’s deeply loved

Makes the soul dance

I wanna live and not cry

I’ve got so much to give

My cup runneth over

With this life inside me

I know and receive

It is a gift

Nothing is promised

But that’s alright

This is still a life for living

And so worth the fight
